Château Branaire-Ducru

Château Branaire-Ducru is a fourth Growth of the Appellation Saint-Julien, in the 1855 classification of Bordeaux wines. Since Patrick Maroteaux took over in 1988, now assisted by his son François-Xavier, important efforts have been realized in order to increase again the quality and regularity of the wines. Dominique Videau followed after Philippe Dhalluin as technical manager, and they now vinify each slot separately, and age the wines for 18 months…
in oak barrels. The Branaire-Ducru wine is particulartly supple, with a velvety texture.
