Climens

Château Climens has belonged to Bérénice Lurton since 1992. The estate was purchased in 1971 by her father, Lucien Lurton. The configuration of the 30-hectare vineyard has not changed for over two hundred years. The terroir of red sand on limestone enables Sémillon to develop beautiful aromas, and the unique microclimate in Sauternes is, of course, conducive to the spread of the famous Botrytis cinerea to transform the grapes.
