Domaine du Pas de l'Escalette

Julien Zernott settled in 2003 in a vineyard in altitude of 400meters, in the Larzac plateau region. This is a fantastic soil, planted with old vines, well irrigated and and swayed with fresh winds.
This combination of factors let the winegriwers enjoy fresh and sane harvests.
The wines will therefore please those who favour southern balances, such as the Clapas cuvée in white, a blend of Carignan and Grenache…
blancs. This wine is perfectly sapid and cristal-like.
Le Grand Pas, made from 70% Grenache Noir, impresses with his depth and touch.
The wine easily rivals with the greatest Grenache from the Rhône, and can be cellared at least ten years.
Every passing year, this Estate gains more height.
