Yannick Amirault

When he started his own Estate in 1977 on the appellations Bourgueil and Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, Yannick Amirault quickly found his own philosophy of growing his vines without chemicals, by pruning them, by letting herbs grow between the ranks, and by ageing the wine in barrels instead of in inox vats. Since a few years, Benoît Amirault has gradually been taking over after his father, and the Estate now spreads over 19 hectares.
