Champagne Salon
The Salon champagnes were established in 1921 by Eugène-Aimé Salon, at the Mesnil sur Oger, in order to distribute the Blancs-de-blancs from his own slots. Owned since 1988 by the Laurent Perrier group, the House is run by Didier Depond, and the cellar master is Michel Fauconnet. A single unique cuvee, called "S by Salon", is elaborated by Champagnes Salon, and in average only one out of three vintages will be vinified. A single grape variety, Chardonnay, a single vineyard, Côte des Blancs, a single Cru, Le Mesnil sur Oger and an average ageing of 10 years on lees make Salon an absolutely exceptional champagne.
