Clos Marie

Christophe Peyrus and Françoise Jullien settled down in Lauret in 1995, in order to create the Clos Marie. The couple has been managing their 20 hectares following biodynamics principles, since the very first year. Their steneous and engaged work led them into the spotlight: the Estate is now a benchmark in the Pic Saint Loup appellation, which is again proof that great wines can be found in Languedoc. These wines do not have to proof their seriousness, and surely amateurs of rounded and dense wines will like them. The range highlights mainly syrah and grenache. The Olivette cuvée is a greedy rendition, the wine provides immediate pleasure. The Manon cuvée is without a doubt one of the region's best-made wines. Broad-shouldered but still fresh, the Grenache blanc will be easily served on the finest parisian tables.
