Rhum Clément
The history of Rhum Clément dates back to 1887 when Dr. Homère Clément purchased Domaine de L'Acajou. He built the distillery in 1917 to meet the high demand generated by the war. Charles Clément, his son, took over the business in 1923 and created the brand Rhum Clément in 1940. Agicultural Clement rums come from the direct distillation of pure cane juice followed by aging in oak barrels in Martinique.
