Brasserie du Mont Salève
A long-time beer enthusiast, Michaël Novo launched his brewery in 2010 in Neydens, Haute-Savoie. Located near the Salève, a mountain on the Swiss border, Brasserie du Mont-Salève quickly built a strong reputation and is now considered one of the best in France.
With a highly environmentally conscious approach, their beers are brewed on-site using carefully selected malts (barley, wheat, and rye) and hops from France and around the world. The result: highly original and ambitious beers with diverse and varied flavors.
The range is extensive, including "Mademoiselle Mistral," an amber ale that's spicy, floral, and fruity; a refreshing and subtly bitter white ale; and the "Hors-Série," a blonde ale macerated with local Mondeuse grape pomace and aged for a year in barrels, resulting in a vinous, fresh, and tart beer.
