The producer

Domaine Marcel Lapierre

Marcel Lapierre, who passed away in 2010, was a great winegrower in Beaujolais. His firm belief that wines should be as natural and organic as possible influenced many peers through France. His son Mathieu, who has been working with him since 2005, and his mother carry on the exploitation of the Estate, using biodynamic principles. They were joined a few years ago by Camille, Marcel Lapierre’s daughter. The vines are averaging 60 years old, and their location in the Côte de Py, and in Corcelette and Montplain areas, produce fruity and very greedy wines of Gamays.
