Domaine Bonneau du Martray

Domaine Bonneau du Martray is rich with a history dating back more than 200 years. In 1969, Comtesse de Bault de la Morinière inherited the Estate from her uncle René. Her son, Jean-Charles de la Morinière will run the estate from 1994 to 2017. Eventually, the Domaine Bonneau du Martray was sold to Mr Stanley Kroenke in 2017. The 11,09 hectares of vineyard are spread between 9.5 hectares of Corton Charlemagne and the remainder in red Corton. The soils have been run in biodynamie since 2004, and the wines are aged in barrels for a year, then in stainless steel tanks for another year. Starting in 2019, the Domaine de la Romanée Conti has been renting 3 hectares of Domaine Bonneau du Martray so as to produce a Corton-Charlemagne.
