Domaine Bruno Colin

With a technique and sales background at the viticultural school of Beaune, Bruno Colin starts working at the family Domaine Colin-Deleger in 1993 but it is only ten years later that he will get part of the vineyard to make it his own, Domaine Bruno Colin. The Domaine spreads over 8,75 hectares and 22 appellation, including 8 premiers crus in Chassagne-Montrachet. With such an array of climats, Bruno delivers his own vision of chardonnay that soon convinced us and wine tasters alike! His crystalline wines are full of energy and tension and the quality of their maturation should be recognized. The wines generally rest for 24 months in barrels (only 20% of new oak) and then lay another 6 months in tanks. Eventually, the wines reveal a limpid expression of their terroir. Among the gems of Domaine Bruno Colin, Chassage-Montrachet 1er cru La Boudriotte is our favourite.
