Claude Dugat established the Estate among the top producers in Gevrey-Chambertin. Unfortunately, the quantities produced are too small for the whole world! The style of the Estate is very distinctive with Pinots always ripe and full, capable of withstanding long ageings. Claude’s three children have now taken over and their aim is to have a light touch in the vineyard. The wines then are more palatable in their youth, which does not limit at all their capacity to age for decades in a good cellar....
