Domaine François Lamarche
The Domaine Lamarche has been installed in Vosne Romanée for several generations. If the family can boast some of the village's finest crus, it is mostly the monopole that achieve their reputation. Ideally placed between la Romanée Conti, La Tâche and la Romanée, the small 1.6 hectares plot of Grande Rue is exclusively managed by Lamarche. The whole estate has been following organic viticulture principles since 2010, showing their real sensitivity to the protection of vegetal heritage. In average the vines are fourty years old, and the yields do not exceed 40 hectoliters per hectare. Since the years 2000, the style of the wines has trended towards more suppleness, with a harvest almost entirely destemmed, and ageings less marked. The wines are never fined, not filtered.
