Domaine Gallety

In the heart of Ardèche, the Domaine Gallety originally covered 80 hectares of fruit trees, forest and vines. A true green ecosystem, which soon gave birth to unique wines. Today, and for more than 30 years, Alain and his son David-Alexandre have been running the show. Manual harvesting, microscopic yields, high concentrations, long vatting period and maturation are part of the wines' DNA. Grenache and Syrah represent the vast majority of the blends. “La Ligure” is a symphony, a velvety syrah bred on limestone. The wine displays very fine tannins, combined with controlled power and noble texture. A devilish nose of peony and white pepper, would make many a Côte Rôtie go pale!
