Domaine Yves Cuilleron

The Cuilleron estate now covers 77 hectares, across different Appellations from the Rhône, such as Saint-Peray, Côte Rôtie, Condrieu and Saint Joseph. Originally, Yves Cuilleron studied to become a mechanical engeneer, befre to make his military service with several winegrowers from Alsace and Burgundy. These different meetings later inspired the man to take over the family Estate in CHavanay (3,5 hectares) in 1987. Very quickly, the winegrower has bog plans and purchases a number of slots made available, at a price still affordable at the time. The style of the wines is definite. nice ripeness combined to a serious wood finish. In Saint Joseph, the cuvée "Les Serines" will please amateurs of very subtle and elegant syrah.
