Domaine Jean-Claude Bachelet et Fils

The Estate, led with great talent by the two Bachelet sons, is now absolutely major. All wines shine through the golden triangle, shaped by the villages of Saint-Aubin, Puligny and Chassagne Montrachet. The two winegrowers own 10.5 hectares of Chardonnay, that they work following biodynamics principles. The brothers stand by their code of conduct, vintage after vintage: harvesting at the right moment, in order to sign tense and bright wines. The juices are so profound that they never find themselves dominated by a wood too pronounced, like so many burgunian chardonnays. Among the finest Climats of the estate, let us cite the Saint Aubin 1er Cru Le Charmois, charming and fruity. The Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Macherelles, embodies the full mineral dimension of the village, its saline and straight finale supporting the wine, and winning the votes of all Burgundy lovers.
