Domaine Ostertag

The Ostertag Estate developped under the leadership of André Ostertag, starting 1966. In 1980, his son André took over and developped a vineyard that now spreads over 15 hectares, in the villages of Epfig mainly, but also in Nothalten, Itterswiller, Ribeauvillé, and Albé. 44% of the surface is planted with Riesling, the other plots are planted with Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Sylvaner, Pinots Blanc and Noir, and Muscat. The Muenchberg and Frontholz cuvees present great expressions of their soils.
