Domaine Chopin et Fils

Domaine Chopin is situated in the town of Corgoloin in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The new generation joins the family estate in the late 90s (1997 for Arnaud and 2000 for Alban) and they contributed to a steady improvement of the wines. Lots of efforts are put into the vineyard to harvest more energetic and concentrated grapes. The soils are ploughed on the surface and plant-covered. In the cellar, the two brothers slowly introduce whole-bunch fermentation in order to get the best out of the pinot noir’s complexity. The Chambolle Musigny truly embodies the style of the Domaine: a generous bouquet of red fruits opens the way to a juicy yet well-structured mouthfeel with silky tannins. A charming and highly enjoyable Chambolle, even in its youth!
