Domaine Yves Confuron-Cotetidot

The Domaine Confuron Cotetidot is a monument in Vosne Romanée. Against all trends, the vinification in full clusters remains unchanged, no matter what vintage. As opposed to grapes harvested early and infused, Yves and Jean-Pierre Confuron prefer, like their father before them, to harvest their pinots noirs later, and to work with the entire plant. The wines all distinguish themselves with a broad and racy volume, extra freshness provided by the stems, and therefore a quasi-illimited ageing potential. Out of the 20-odd "climats" composing the eleven hectares Estate, the famous and silky Vosne 1er Cru Les Suchots, neighbour of Richebourg and Romanée Saint Vivant, keeps his promises over time. The Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru counts among the more powerful and deep of the Appellation.
