Champagne Adrien Renoir

Adrien Renoir is based in the commune of Verzy, a Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims. The young man took over the family estate in 2014, determined to develop the different parcels that make up the vineyard. To do this, Adrien relies on organic viticulture (certified since 2017) and biodynamic principles. Fermentations take place spontaneously in barrels, under the action of indigenous yeasts. The wines are neither fined nor filtered. The winemaker then isolates a grape variety, a harvest and a specific place to develop new vintages, like Epinette (100% pinot noir) or Les Vignes Goisses (100% pinot meunier). The Terroir cuvée is in a way an interpretation of the Grand Cru Oger in its entirety: it is made from several parcels, and includes 20% reserve wines associated with the current vintage. All the champagnes of the House shine through their fluidity and comfortable mouthfeel.
