In Ville-sur-Arce, in the dynamic Côte des Bars, Thomas Demarne is a name that comes around. The young winegrower took over the Estate and he put into practice every observation gained from his Mom, Valérie Frison. The Champagnes are made with the same commitment ever since the creation of the Estate: organically grown grapes and without “dosage”. The fermentations are natural (the malolactic fermentation is not blocked), and without added sulphite. The range of wines showcases the variations of a grape variety on a given soil: the Lalore cuvée for example, is a tremendous expression of chardonnay on kimmeridgian limestone.
